In The Street Festival -
SASMM will once again be joining everyone in Downtown Frederick for the In The Street Festival. Held September 11 from 11am to 5pm. Be sure to come and check out our tent!

The planning continues for our 2010 Frederick Celtic Festival!
In our 11th year, the Frederick Celtic Festival is turning into one of Maryland's premier Celtic events!

Who is St. Andrew?
According to legend, an angel told a monk, St. Rule (Regulus), in a dream to move the bones of St. Andrew from Constantinople to "the ends of the earth". He did so, removing a tooth, arm bone, knee cap and some fingers, and headed towards Scotland.
He shipwrecked off the east coast of Scotland, and built a chapel in a Pictish settlement to house the relics. This settlement later became known as St. Andrews. The chapel was replaced by the Cathedral of St. Andrew in 1160, and St. Andrews became the religious capital of Scotland.

Dinner will be fully catered and includes:
Hors d'oeurves from 7-8pm (veggies, anti-pasto, fruit, salad)
Buffet style dinner from 8-9pm (pasta, carved turkey, ham and sides)
Desert (chocolate & vanilla parfait, stuffed bread pudding)
Soda, water, coffee, tea, cider and champagne toast included!
Live entertainment throughout the evening, plus Scottish traditions of First Footing (with pipers) and 'ringing' in the New Year!
